Senate votes to limit debate on spending bill
The Senate voted, 63 to 33, early Friday to limit debate on the defense spending bill, which includes $128 billion to fund the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
The vote defeated Republican efforts to filibuster the massive Pentagon bill. Senators now have 30 hours in which to debate the bill, with a final vote expected on Saturday morning.
