He was expected to scold and implore them, but the bankers know what's coming, and they're not buying it. LATER TODAY ON MARKETPLACE The Tiger Woods scandal not only affects him personally, it puts pressure on companies that paid to associate their brand with his image -- some of whom have already dropped him. So the golf legend's recent exit from the sport may not only be to shore up his personal life, but to protect his remaining sponsors. Stacy Vanek-Smith reports. Student loan defaults are up, according the U.S. Department of Education, with particularly high rates among students from for-profit schools. Reporter Nancy Marshall-Genzer takes a look behind the numbers. As the economy has tanked, so have donations to nonprofit organizations. The American Red Cross is no exception, but it has had an especially bad year plagued with strikes, financial scandals and complaints about cost-cutting. John Dimsdale reports.
